Rajasthan Pensioners to Get Advance Pension
Good news for all the pensioner friends out there in Rajasthan! It seems during the time just before Raksha Bandhan the Bhajanlal government has come with new decision that like government servants, pensioners will also be able to take three months advance pension.

This is not restricted to retired employees only but even the employees who are availing family pensions can make use of this facility. Currently, one of the largest states in the country, Rajasthan has a total of about 8 lakh government employees of which 4. 75 lakh are pensioners. Out of them 3. 22 lakhs are retired employees and 1. 53 lakhs are family pensioners.
As a result, the following are the steps on how to apply for advance pension:
From August 1, 2024, pensioners and family pensioners can write for advance pension for three months. It has to be their decision when to receive the advance, and payments will begin the next month. This sum will have to be received as a loan, to be paid back gradually with interest.
Pensioner advance for 21 months means that it will be recovered in the pension of the subsequent month or months. The advance amount cannot be over half of the pension amount that would have been paid for the month that the advance is given.
Holding fee may be charged on each transaction made by the client, along with any GST. Hence for the purposes of recovery, monthly recovery will also be made in three equal amounts for the subsequent three months.
Application Process
The advance pension can be obtained through the SSO ID or by going to an e-Mitra center without having to leave home. They have to access the Integrated Financial Management System 3. 0 and file with the service provider an undertaking. This data will be also shared and updated in the system in accordance with the information flow plan.
