Relief for UP Officials and Pensioners
Finally, the officials, employees, and pensioners of Uttar Pradesh have some relaxation news. With the new directives by the state government, there is hope to address the issues of salary anomalies as well as the thorny issue of pensions. This will ensure that employees and pensioners no longer encounter problems as far as salary and pension are concerned.
An affidavit in case of a discrepancy in salary is required.
Additional Commissioner Milind Lal has been sending letters to heads of departments regarding the unequal distribution of salaries amongst the employees and the pension schemes. Under the fresh directives, department heads are to submit an affidavit to the effect that they are unpaid salary dispute cases pertaining to their subordinates. And if the cases are found, then the department head of the student will be held responsible.
Quick Disposal of Salary and Pension Matters
It stresses that salary and pension disputes, such as steps 3 and 4, of the guidelines should be settled before the end of their respective fiscal years. In the pension process, particularly for retiring employees, the government plans to ensure that it completes all the processes without causing any problems for the retirees.
Efficient Processes to Minimize Legal Problems
Due to these circumstances, the state tax department has directed that the service records of the employees eligible for retirement should be checked and cleaned up of any discrepancies, normally not less than eight months from their date of retirement. This is a preventive measure to minimize cases that would lead to court cases and also to facilitate proper succession for the retiring employees.
