Tata Motors, which claims to be the largest electric vehicle seller in the Indian market, is all prepared to bring back the Tata Nano in a new version with a better range. Currently, Tata has over 70% of the market share for electric vehicles in India and intends to retain this with the newest Tata Nano EV.
Tata Nano EV Design
The new Tata Nano EV generation shall, however, be a complete makeover from its predecessors. It will have a new front bumper, an LED head lamp, a daytime running lamp, and a new front grill.
The side profile will have diamond alloy wheels that are new, and the rear will consist of connected LED tail lamps that are new, together with a new bumper. Recently, the new Nano EV model is estimated to be tinier than the previous models, which will make the new Nano EV the smallest electric car in the Indian market.
Tata Nano EV Battery and Range
Some media reports report that the Tata Nano EV will have the same the same battery choices and range as the Tata Tiago EV. For the short distance, it will have 19.2 kW, and for the longer distance, it will use 24 kW.
The small battery pack will give an estimated range of 250 km, while the large battery pack option will give an estimated range of 315 km. However, all these facts are still mere rumors and have not yet been announced by the company.
